During the savings period, the homebuyer must complete a Homebuyer Counseling Program offered by North Country Affordable Housing, Inc.

You  will learn about budgeting and finance, the mortgage process, how to choose a home, energy efficiency, minor repairs and more to help you become a better homeowner.

A certificate of completion from NCAH will be required at time of closing before the FHLBNY will release the grant funds.
